| Puppy Shipping Information All our puppies are AKC registered and Long Hair. Long Distant Travel via Air We offer air shipping to about any major airline hub in the United States at the purchasers expense. The price for shipping is $300.00 (Add $50.00 for 2nd Puppy in Same Pet Taxi). This price includes airfare via Northwest Air, an FAA-approved travel kennel and a Health Certificate from our Veterinarian. The increase in airfare is variable at this time, if it is less (or more) you will be notified and the price adjusted to that rate. There is a flight heat restriction in the summer and we are not able to ship a puppy when the temperature is above 85 degrees Fahrenheit during any part of it's flight (it may require a late night or early morning flight so be prepared for picking your puppy up at an odd hour of the day during the hot season). There is a cold restriction in the winter and we are not able to ship a puppy when the temperature is below 10 degrees Fahrenheit. A quick email (or phone call) to inform us your puppy has arrived safely is always appreciated! We will not knowingly sell to puppy mills. * We have the right to refuse any prospective purchases. These are our babies. |

| We only ship within the United States |
We prefer to have our puppies picked up in our home because this is the safest and least stressful on our puppies. We are also willing and able to drive a reasonable distance to meet someone with a puppy for a reasonable charge to cover our gasoline costs. However, if this is not possible, out of courtesy for our customers, we are able to ship via airline. Shipping is $300. Your shipping price will include your puppy’s airline expenses, a new travel crate, a veterinarian health certificate, and your puppy starter kit. We will do our part in only shipping healthy and robust puppies. Our veterinarian will ensure that only healthy puppies are shipped as we have to get a health certificate for every animal that is delivered via airline. We take measures to ensure their health upon arrival by giving them food and water before leaving. We pad down the crate with a blanket so they are comfortable and dry. However, as stated above, shipping is not our first choice and we do so only out of courtesy for our customers. Once our puppies leave our hands, we have no control over them and the customer requesting delivery via airline will have to assume all the responsibilities for the risks therein. Instructions for Receiving at the Airport: To ensure that your puppy recovers quickly from the stress of shipping, we ask you to follow these instructions: 1. Be on time to pick up your puppy; do not make them wait longer! I will email you flight information directly after I make the arrangements. I cannot arrange the flight more than a week in advance, so please be patient. This is the airline rules, not mine. 2. Make sure your puppy is clean and dry and offer food and water at your first opportunity. Be sure that your puppy eats and drinks as soon as possible. The puppy may Urinate or Defecate in the travel crate, so take along some wet wipes and a towel to clean and dry him/her. 3. Take your puppy home for rest, do NOT take them around to show them off. Shipping is stressful and your puppy needs rest in a quiet place for the rest of the day and to adjust to it's new surroundings. Besides, you want to get to know your new baby and let them get to know you. Our Dachshund puppies are usually ready to ship after 8 weeks old. We reserve the right to hold a puppy should we think it’s necessary for the health or safety of a puppy to ship at a later date. |
